This alloy has relatively fair machinability. It is easier to machine in the hard temper than as annealed and the quality of finish is better if machined in the hard condition.

Aluminum circles 5052 products include 5052-0, 5052-H19, 5052-H34, 5052-H36, 5052-H38 and 5052- H39 aluminum alloys. Available in foil, strip and sheet forms in thicknesses from 0.0002 in. to 0.031 in. Soft, half, full, 3/4 and extra full hard aluminum materials are available. Used in laser/chemical etching, stamping, gaskets, shims, washers, fabricated parts and transformers applications. Custom slit-to-width and cut-to-length products are available. Meet ASTM standards. RoHS and DFARS compliant.
