The production of aluminium coil in different thickness

Writer:Admin   Time:

Aluminum sheet in coil using molten primary aluminium, or by melting ingots and/or diverse scrap in the smelting furnace, the molten metal passes into a continuous casting machine where metal solidification and hot-rolling operations are combined.
The coils obtained in this way are then cold-rolled, following a number of intermediate annealing treatments.
    Width in as rolled condition(Untrimmed)
    Range - 885 mm -1620 mm
    Standard890, 965, 1240, 1270, 1540, 1620 mm
    Alloy :1xxx, 2xxx, 3xxx, 4xxx, 5xxx, 6xxx, 8xxx
    Aluminium coil thickness:
    4.50 - 12 mm for alloys of AI, AI-Mn, AI-Si

    6 - 8 mm for alloys of AI-Mg, AI-Mg-Si, AI-Cu-Mg
In addition we also offer small aluminium coils also described as aluminium insulation coils. These have thickness between 0.3 - 2mm and width between 1000mm - 1250mm, with two different finishes: stucco or mill finish. The large range of alloys offer exceptional formability, corrosion resistance, toughness and mechanical properties to resist mechanical or thermal abuse in service. These are used, for many applications including, for refrigeration and heat insulation installers for coating boilers, pipes, ducts and other parts of the installation. These are typically produced in sizes such as 125 kgs or 150 kgs but generally produced to clients requirements.
Aluminium tube coils can be obtained through a smelting process and adjustment of metal composition, either using a horizontal casting machine or by hot-rolling sheets obtained from a discontinuous vertical casting machine.
    Arbour Diameter:750 mm without spool
    Coil Density :2000 - 4500 kgs
