Price and features of aluminium circles for cooker

Writer:Admin   Time:

Aluminium circles for cooker takes up the largest share of aluminum discs market. In comparison to other applications of aluminium circles, cookers prove to be the most largely demanded around the world. Ordinary alloys for aluminum circle cover 1050, 1060, 1070, 1100, 3003, 3004, 3005, 5005, 5052 and 8011. Not all these grades, however, are applied in cooker production most of the time.

The most frequently applied grades of aluminium circles for cooker are 1050, 3003, 5052 and 8011, covering four different aluminum series with varied features. 1050 is the lightest, softest, cheapest and weakest in corrosion resistance of all these alloys. 3003DC aluminium circle, usually 0.6mm to 5.0mm thick, can go through anodizing, enameal, ceramic and ordinary drawing before being made into cookers. 5052 aluminum circle for cooker is of DC quality, too. It’s the strongest in both hardness and corrosion resistance. These properties can be further improved by anodizing process. Although 8011 is rarely demanded, it’s a regular alloy for aluminum circle, too. It boasts excellent plasticity and deep drawing property.

With the alloys mentioned above, aluminium circle suppliers can provide diameter from 135mm to 1350mm, but most of the time diameters below 1000mm is enough. With increasingly higher demands of consumers, cooker manufacturers are demanding novel materials like color coated aluminum circles, with which aluminum circle manufacturers must keep in step.
