6061 Prepainted Aluminium Coil/Sheet

Alloy 6061 coils and sheets are the most versatile of the heat treatable aluminum alloys. Though less strong than most of the 2xxx and 7xxx alloys, 6061 aluminum provides an extensive range of mechanical properties and corrosion resistance and can be fabricated by many of the commonly used practices. In the "O" temper or annealed condition, alloy 6061 has good formability. In the T4 condition, fairly severe forming can be done; whereas, in the T6 condition, properties may be obtained by artificial aging.

6013 Prepainted Aluminium Coil/Sheet

Alloy 6013 aluminum coil and aluminum sheet is a new medium strength aerospace alloy that provides improved formability, lower density and corrosion resistance. The T4 condition allows 6013 aluminum to be formed and demonstrates better stretch forming characteristics. The part can then be aged to the T6 condition without costly heat treating or annealing operations. The yield strength is 12% higher than Alclad 2024 and resistant to exfoliation and stress corrosion cracking.

7075 Prepainted Aluminium Coil/Sheet

Alloy 7075 aluminum coil and sheet have been and remain the baseline standard with a good balance of properties required for aerospace applications. 7075 aluminum is among the highest strength alloys available and used in highly stressed parts. Corrosion resistance and machinability are rated as fair, though the addition of chromium provides good stress-corrosion cracking resistance in 7075 aluminum sheet products. As with alloy 2024, alloy 7075 is available in bare form or in clad ("Alclad") to offer even further protection from corrosion.
